We know that the John McCain for a long time struggles with glioblastoma, a serious form of brain cancer. Latest reports regarding his health condition are coming from his office and are not that good.

The Arizona Senator received medical treatment for a minor tear to his right Achilles tendon suffered over the weekend, as a result of his is undergoing treatment for brain cancer. As we have seen, the 81-year old Senator won’t give up that easily, his fight against the deadly illness continues.

“Senator McCain was treated at Walter Reed Medical Center over the weekend for a minor tear in his right Achilles tendon, as well as for other normal and non-life-threatening side effects of cancer therapy. Senator McCain has returned to work in the Senate and will be wearing a walking boot until his injured tendon is fully healed,” his office said in a statement Monday, but it did not detailed what the other side effects were.

On Twitter, McCain posted a photo of himself wearing the walking boot. As a description he wrote: “I can’t tell you how much I hate wearing this boot!”

McCain’s illness was diagnosed this past summer. Although, in September he announced that he was receiving treatment in the Washington area, he decided to continue his work for the Senate.

McCain is known as one of the Republicans who did not agree much with President Trump’s policy. He is among the other Republicans who interrupted the repeal of Obamacare. In September, McCain formally announced his opposition to the legislation proposed by the Senators Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Bill Cassidy of Louisiana.Although, we don’t agree entirely with the Senator’s political views, that should not stop us to wish him well. Many people are wondering why he does not want to resign so he can dedicate to the process of healing. Please pray for him. Lets hope that John McCain get well.
